Greetings from St Bede’s

Our Year 10s have been out on camp for much of the week, and the photos here show how much the boys engaged in new experiences and learning out of the classroom. What I particularly enjoy are the interactions of staff and boys that develop so much more out of the confines of the classroom.

In the last week the Junior A Water Polo team defeated CBHS in the final to win the South Island Secondary School Junior Tournament, and tomorrow the 1st XI Cricket team play CBHS in the final of the local 50-over competition. Later in the week the Rugby Sevens team fly to Auckland to compete in the national finals.

Junior Prize-giving is on next Wednesday, 9 December at 11.00am in the College Gym, and all parent of the junior school are most welcome to attend to acknowledge the boys' achievements.
