A busy term so far for SBC Music!

Ashleigh Mowbray —

It's been a busy couple of weeks for SBC Music!

While our choir was performing in Timaru, our Year 10 Band 'The Haizy's' were performing at the Old Boys Association Annual dinner at Mona Vale. They prepared a full hour long set, which included a mix of original songs and covers! Well done to Liam Hulme (vocals), Kade Burroughs (Guitar), Conor Campbell-Scott (Guitar), Isaiah Pridmore (Bass) and Antonio Rodrigues (Drums).

Our Bedean Choir sung in the North Parish Jubilate at St Mary's Pro-Cathedral - just three days after returning from Timaru! It was great to see two Old Boys of the College; Jean-Luc Pitcaithly, who played 'Ave Maria' on the Trumpet, and Fr Alistair who said the final prayers. It was also wonderful to hear the Marian Choir perform an item. Well done also to current Year 11 student Simon Curnow who played a piece called 'Festive Trumpet' on the Organ.

Congratulations to all of our musicians for their hard work and brilliant  performances over the last few weeks.

If you'd like to hear more from our exceptional musicians, keep an eye out for details of this term's Variety Concert, which will be released very soon!
