It's all go in the music department at the moment as our rock bands and our choir prepare for a busy week next week! 

On Friday 10 June the Bedean Choir take part in Christchurch Regionals of The Big Sing, a choral competition for High School choirs across New Zealand!

During the day they will sing a fifteen minute set of music on the stage of the Christchurch Town Hall! In the evening they will perform one of their songs as part of the Gala Concert. 

If you'd like to watch the Bedean Choir perform they are part of Session 4 starting at 1.45pm. The Gala Concert starts at 6.30pm and will feature all the competing Choirs as well as a massed item.

Then on Saturday 11 June our bands are competing in Rock Quest 2022! 

This year we have two bands entered - Year 10 band, 'The Haizys' (Conor Campbell-Scott, Kade Burroughs, Liam Hulme, Isaiah Pridmore and Antonio Rodrigues) and Year 12 band, 'Fifty Toes' (Ollie Lutton, Ethan Dawson, Isaac Jones, Rheubyn Hunter and Tom Lewis)

The Christchurch heats are held all day at the Ngaio Marsh Theatre, UCSA but both of our bands are in the evening session from 5 - 8pm! 

Tickets for audience members are door sales only, and will be on sale from 30 min before the first act of the day. 

All Rockquest performances are also being live streamed free of charge on www.sfrq.nz.
