This update includes information regarding Wednesday Sport, a possible rugby trip to Argentina in 2017, success for Jarod Gillespie in mountain biking and a cricket fundraiser.

Wednesday Sport

Wednesday Sport runs for the next two Wednesdays for Year 9 and 10 student and finishes on Wednesday, 16 November.

Rugby

St Bede's College Rugby Club are looking at the possibility of taking a Rugby team to Argentina in September 2017. The Club is holding an information evening on Wednesday, 9 November at 8.00pm in the staffroom at St Bede's College to gauge parents' interest – all who are interested are welcome to attend.

Mountain Biking

Congratulations to Jarod Gillespie who competed in the New Zealand Secondary Schools and South Island Secondary Schools Mountain Biking Championships during the September holidays.  Jarod finished 3rd in the Cross Country event for South Island and 5th Nationally and in the Super D (enduro), finished 6th in South Island and 7th nationally.   Well done Jarod, they are excellent results.

Cricket Fundraiser

The St Bede's College Cricket Club are selling Savouries as their Annual Fundraiser and if you would like to order some please either email me or send you son in with the money.

Collection Dates:  Tuesday, 29 November 5-6 pm & Thursday, 1 December 5-6pm. Meet outside Marist House at St Bede’s College. PLEASE NOTE: Product is frozen therefore will need to be picked up on these dates.
