In the weekend, we welcomed in the new Catholic Parish of Christchurch North and farewell the three parishes of Holy Trinity (Bryndwr), Christ the King (Burnside), and St Joseph’s (Papanui) at two Masses at the St Bede’s gymnasium. 

This was a wonderful opportunity to thank God for the hard work of so many people, families, schools, and priests who have given their life and ministry through the years. 

Bishop Paul is calling us, in a deep sense to start again. To set out on a new journey to go forward. We thank you for being on this journey with us and look forward to sharing the celebration of Christ's coming over the next weeks.
