Choir rehearsals kickstarted at camp

Rosemary McBryde —

The Bedean Choir travelled to Living Springs camp on Friday, 1 March for an intensive two-day rehearsal.

The goal is to kickstart rehearsals for the year, with singing time at camp equivalent to almost a term of normal weekly practices.

It’s also an important bonding time, with non-singing activities including basketball, swimming, yoga and mini golf. Thanks to Mrs Helen Charlton, Mrs Abi King and Ms Lou Days who attended camp and kept the choir fuelled over the weekend with great meals, including Mrs King’s famous spag bol and a barbeque lunch on Saturday.

Thanks too to parents for making the boys’ attendance possible and providing so much yummy baking.
