This last week of term for the year has been one of many farewells. Farewells to staff who have been at St Bede’s for longer than I have and then my own farewell today.

I would like to take this time to thank the St Bede’s community for your support of me over the last 21 years and to wish you all the very best going forward.

To the boys, keep taking advantage of everything that this College can offer you, both inside and outside the classroom, as I say at the entrance interviews, we are unashamedly a Catholic Marist school. We are proud to form our boys to become good men.

I wish you all safe holidays and a very Merry Christmas.
