Mrs Clare Kissick —

Information and Updates

A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL

Thank you all very much to everyone that has coached, managed, done first aid on the sideline, picked up lost property from the sideline and been taxi drivers for the term to make sure your sons have enjoyed their winter sports. I know it is a common phrase but it is a truthful one in saying that I could not of put out 54 teams each week over winter without your help, which I really appreciate.

A huge big thank you to all.

BASKETBALL SUMMER LEAGUE

Nine teams have been formed to enter the Summer Basketball League Tournament in Term 4. The cost is $30.00 per player and the games start on Sunday 13 October (Sunday before term starts) at 12.00pm in the College Gym.

If anyone would like to join the team of referees, please see Mrs Kissick in the sports office. (A small remuneration for refereeing will be offered.)

ROWING

Rowing recruiting is going well and new boys are very welcome to join it at any stage over the next month.

The Club is holding a rowing camp second week of school holidays at Stuart's Gully, 7 - 12 October, which will be a great opportunity for your son/s to give rowing a go and see how exciting it is making those boats go as fast as they can - and it could possibly stop them getting bored in the holidays!

Please contact Christine Lange for more details or to reserve your place - 027 859 3000

The Club is on the hunt for more coxswains to join the team. The coxswain is an integral member of the crew, the coaches assistant in the boat! COME ALONG AND GIVE ROWING A GO.

WEDNESDAY SPORT

Thanks you to all those parents and boys in getting their registration forms in on time. Volleyball starts Monday night (14 October) and all other sports start the first Wednesday back which is the 16th October.
