Mrs Clare Kissick —

Information and Updates.

NEW ZEALAND CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPS

We wish Andres Hernandez luck.  He is competing in Brisbane this weekend for the New Zealand Cross-country team.

BASKETBALL

Tonight is the final game for all teams and I wish them all the very best. A huge thank you to all the parents that have sat on benches for the 216 games our boys have played for the last 12 week. Without your help these teams would not have been able to take the court, so I certainly appreciate your help with the 18 teams each week.

Many many thanks to you all.

FOOTBALL

Congratulations to the 17A Football Team who has won their Division 2 Grade, this is a huge effort as Mainland Football will not allow schools teams to enter their Division 1 Grade which is left for Club Academy teams. A big thank you to Leeann Findlay and Kelly Barber who both coach this team even though they do not have sons in the team.

A great effort by all.  See team photo below.

RUGBY

Good luck to all the teams that have made the semi-finals this Saturday.

ROWING

“HAVE A GO DAY”

The rowing season is fast approaching and we would love to have more boys on the water.

The club is on a big recruiting drive and need more boys in boats. Rowing are holding a “Have a Go Day” on Saturday 8 September at Stewart's Gully – your son will be able to hop in a boat and have a row. Coaches and rowing parents will be present to answer all your questions.

See poster attached with map on.
