In the July holidays there is an opportunity for up to 8 students in Year 9 and 10 who are interested in learning more about Chinese culture and language, to visit China and take part in similar camps as the one shown in the attachment. (example itinerary only).

The cost involved are travel to and from China, a registration fee, and 2 days sight seeing in Beijing, which would be between $1500 - $1800 per person plus personal spending money extra. One teacher from the College will accompany the group if four boys go, and two if eight boys go. Other schools from Christchurch will be going as well. if you are interested in going, and want to learn more, please email me at rtappenden@stbedes.school.nz by the end of next week.
