Applications open for BLAKE Inspire 2021

It’s that time again!

Together with the Ministry for the Environment, we are looking for up to 70 passionate, young environmental leaders to join us for our 2021 BLAKE Inspire Inspire programme. And this year we are excited to announce we are running two programmes:

  • 19 – 23 April in Waikato
  • 11 – 15 October in Auckland

CLICK HERE to watch a video of last year’s BLAKE Inspire.

ABOUT BLAKE Inspire

BLAKE Inspire is an action-packed week for Year 11 – 13 students.

It gives students the opportunity to work alongside scientists, environmental experts and a diverse range of leaders while learning about important environmental issues – such as climate change, marine health, freshwater decline and biodiversity loss. It gives students a chance to further develop their leadership skills and problem solve about how they can take action to start driving positive change within their own schools and communities.

A sense of adventure is a must and a willingness to learn and participate are all key requirements. Students will take part in field trips, marine and science activities and meet with business and community leaders.

This program is fully funded by the Ministry for the Environment.

If this sounds like you, click on the APPLY NOW buttons in the above link for more information.

Places are limited and applications for BOTH programmes close at midnight on Friday 26 February.
