Thanks to the generosity of the St Bede’s community, some fantastic new books have been arriving at the library.

Thanks to the generosity of the St Bede’s community, some fantastic new books have been arriving at the library. 

There is something for everyone, no matter what your interests or reading level is, so come and check out some of these new series and stand-alone books, as well as many more:

  • Kiwis at War series – fictional stories based on New Zealand’s part in WWI, this series is accessible and full of action.
  • Liam Scott series – this series follows young soldier Liam, who has joined the army to escape his past and make a difference.
  • Arena 13 series – this dystopian series focuses on the notorious Arena 13, where warriors pit their skills against a fearsome monster..
  • Hooper – a novel about a refugee who loves basketball…and who also finds out what family really means.
  • Avalanche – a group of college kids caught in an avalanche must survive in the wilderness.
  • The Wild Lands – set in the future, when catastrophic events have cut Alaska off. A teenage boy must brave the wilds and take his sister to safety.
  • Young Samurai series – a boy who attends Samurai school has to put his skills to use faster than expected – high action/adventure.
  • Rugby Spirit series – Eoin starts a new, rugby obsessed school, and has to learn the game and find some friends fast…
  • Sticking with Pigs – when Wolf gets a chance to go pig hunting, he doesn’t expect to be challenged in every way and put his survival skills to the test.
