Training times (BEGINS WEEK 5)

Time: Mondays: 7:15am – 8:00am in the School Gym (Year 9 & 10)

Wednesday: 7:15am - 8:00am in the School Gym (Year 11+)

Sports Mentoring Programme

The Sports Mentoring Programme will consist of a maximum of five students per year group who have gained representative honours in their chosen sport. Students will need to complete the below application form and partake in an interview before being selected. There is no cost associated with this programme.

The programme involves designing an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) for each student in consultation with parents/caregivers, Mr Schwalger-Smith and the student. This is to help with managing the student’s workload at school and to ensure we are doing everything we can to help the student reach their goals. They will also be provided with professional training for their sport where it can be arranged.

Students in the Sports Mentoring Programme will spend one afternoon per month being exposed to professional sporting environments or attending workshops that will develop their potential to become a professional athlete.
