Ben Tomlinson —

We hope that this month’s edition of the Old Boys’ news finds you well as we re-adjust to life in our bubbles – though hopefully for a short period.

As always there is plenty to cover this month, including an article about Tony Ryan, an Old Boy of the College and recipient of the 2021 Lincoln Alumni International Medal. Jacqui’s reflection piece this month covers the ever-changing grounds of the College, which I am sure will be interesting as we compare the present day grounds with our own memories of the College as students.

Our events calendar remains full for the remainder of the year and we hope to be able to continue with minimal interruption, despite the current COVID uncertainty. We have, however, decided to postpone the Old Boys Networking Event scheduled for early September and will advise a new date in due course. The Golf Tournament remains scheduled for 17 September but will be dependent on Alert Level settings.

Further communication will follow in relation to our events as we know more. In the meantime, keep safe and enjoy catching up with the news for this month.

Ngā mihi,

Ben Tomlinson
