Summertime Reading

Chrissie Walker —

We all know how important it is that students keep reading over the school holidays, and sometimes an incentive helps.

Christchurch City Libraries is running a great Summertime Reading Challenge over the summer and there are some fabulous prizes up for grabs, including powerbanks, wireless headphones and fitness tracker bands. It's open to students up to 18 years old, and they can enter at any Christchurch City Library or online at www.christchurchcitylibraries.com I also have entry forms here at the school library.

Entries close on the 28th February and all they have to do to be in to win is give a three world review. Students can review books they own, or that they have borrowed from the school or public library. Also, a reminder that students are able to borrow books to keep out over summer from the school library as well. Please be aware that during the exam period, starting Monday 22 November, the school library can only be accessed at lunchtime and before school.
