1st XV vs Waimea Combined Schools at SBC won 69-10

St. Bede's have celebrated a win at home vs Waimea Combined Schools, in what were the worst weather conditions of the season so far.  St. Bede's dominated right from the kick off in front of a loyal crowd, with strong scrummaging and smart forward play came great ball and service for the backline to take advantage and they hit the lead early, ending the first half 38-3 ahead. Unfortunately for the spirited Waimea side the points continued to come in the second half for the home team, with the reserves bench keeping the momentum flowing. St. Bede's were able to add a further 5 tries to Waimea’s 1 and close out the game with their biggest victory of the season to date.
