Term 2 is traditionally one of the busiest terms in the cultural life of the College. The two big events are Stage Challenge in Week 3 and the musical The Wiz with Marian College. In addition, the two choirs and the jazz band are practising steadily for competitions in Term 3, theatre sports continues to practise and establish a junior team and lessons are continuing as usual.

Stage Challenge

Every lunchtime, around 40 students descend on the PAC to continue practices for Stage Challenge, which takes place on Friday, 19 May at Horncastle Arena. Leading the group with their creative direction are Year 13 students Patrick James, Andrew Takenaka and Keanu Labajo assisted by Ms Sullivan. T-shirt designs are by another Year 13 student Felix Hogers. The 6 to 7 minute production highlights a social issue which will be revealed on the day.
