Weekly Notes

Weekly Notes will recommence today. We appreciate that this is only three days after school has started, however we felt it important that we give parents a quick snapshot as to whether or not their son has engaged in the online process. 

For this week only, students will either be awarded a 1 or a 4 as an indicator to you that they have commenced learning at home. As this is the first run through remotely there could be some discrepancies that we will address going forward. From next week on, grades will be awarded as per the scale in the table below. Please note there will be no grade for Tutor Time.

Live Learning Sessions

A reminder that if your son has a clash of ‘live’ learning sessions please ensure they email their subject teacher directly to arrange an alternative. During any ‘live’ learning session, it is important to for students to respect that space as they would a normal classroom. Some key messages you can pass onto your sons:

• Ensure they are dressed appropriately
• That they blur, or change their screen background to protect their privacy
• That they allow others to learn during this time
• That they use comment forums in an appropriate manner
