Cranford Street - No entry to Weston Road

Next week we are installing the new kerbs on the east side of Cranford Street between McFaddens Road and Weston Road. From Monday 13 May there is no entry to Cranford Street from Weston Road (Mairehau side) till Tuesday 21 May.

Waimakariri Bridge contraflow traffic management over the weekend

This weekend from Friday evening 6pm till Monday morning 5.30am (10 to 13 May) the northbound Waimakariri Motorway Bridge will be closed. Contraflow traffic control will divert all traffic onto the southbound bridge - one lane in each direction. This will allow us to pour concrete for the new lane on the northbound bridge. Please merge like a zip before you reach the bridge to help keep traffic moving efficiently. During the contraflow there will be a 60 km/h speed limit in place on the bridge. This work is weather dependent; heavy rain on Friday will cancel this work, but if all goes well we may be able to open the bridge early.
