To all parents of boys cycling to school:

Gerry Davidson —

With winter upon us and the mornings and evenings getting darker it is important that the boys are visible on their bikes.

It is essential that the boys have lights and high visibility clothing or patches on their bags when coming to and from school. Wearing their blazers or dark jackets with out the appropriate precautions endangers the boys and the motorists that use the roads with them. This is a very important safety issue and the seriousness of it needs to be communicated to your sons.

It is also important that the boys lock their bikes both within the compound and outside of it. While the Police have apprehended and charged individuals who have stolen bikes in the past it remains a problem. If they are late to school and find that the compound is locked they should go to the Main Office and collect the key and lock their bike inside the compound.
