Three current students and old boy from St Bede's attended the inaugural Māori and Pasifika Waterpolo tournament in Tauranga from 9-11 February. They were:

• Nikau Campbell (Year 12) playing for Te Tai Tokerau in the U16 Taitamariki Grade
• Harry Hough (Year 12) playing for Te Tai Tonga in the U16 Taitamariki Grade
• Tan Talanoa (Year 13) and Jared Talanoa (old boy) playing for Te Tai Tokerau/Pasfika in the Open Paikeke/Taiohi grade

The boys all represented Canterbury and St Bede's well both in and out of the pool. Nikau's team made the final and only lost 9-10 in a thrilling, physical game that went right to the last second.
