Pilot in the making!

Wednesday 28th August, Air New Zealand held a  Pilot Career Evening here in Christchurch for anyone interested in a career in aviation.  Perry one of our International students has  arrived in New Zealand with a long term goal of pursuing a career in aviation. Attending events like the Pilot Career Evening is a fantastic way for Perry to get a closer look at what the career entails and what subjects he can be studying whilst he is a senior student. Students and their families were able to tour around the academy and Perry was able  to get a hands-on insight into what piloting is really like by sitting in one of the training simulators. Opportunities like this can be incredibly inspiring for students considering aviation careers.
