Limited Places left for the Global Youth Ambassador Programme Project Trip (USA, July 2020)

The GYAP offers NZ students the chance to …

  • Develop leadership and communication skills
  • Try new foods and experiences
  • Learn about new cultures
  • Make new international friends
  • Develop a more global approach to 21st century living
  • Participate in the UN Curriculum on global communities and international diplomacy

The trip includes:

  • Tours of Boston and New York
  • A chance to stay in the dorm of a leading US university
  • Meet students from other countries

Costs:

  • A special price of $4000 inclusive of flights an on-ground costs

You will cover:

  • A $200 admin fee
  • Your travel insurance
  • US visitor visa fee

You will need bring:

  • A willingness to interact with other NZ students on the trip
  • A great attitude
  • Personal skills to show flexibility, leadership and tolerance with people from other cultures.

In the past (2018-2019) GYAP have offered St Bede’s students the opportunity to join the “Panda Camps" to China. Mary McCrostie has a background in teaching and international exchanges in Christchurch over many years. One student from St Bede’s has already signed up for this Project Trip to the USA, as have students from Villa Maria College.
