This week's update includes news on basketball, rugby, rowing and this week's Team of the Week

Basketball

Friday night Basketball continues this week and just a reminder that each team must have an adult sitting on the team bench with them.

Players should be in correct uniform which is the College black singlet with a number and P E shorts, if your son is still waiting on his singlet from the College Shop then he must wear his P E polo shirt.

St Bede’s College Basketball Club 

The Club holding a QUIZ NIGHT on Sunday 11 June at Robbie's Elmwood, 1 Normans Road, doors open from 6pm. Quiz starts 7pm.

Tickets $100 per table, which includes a supper platter (one per table of 6-8 people). New menu with lots of scrummy options.


Rugby

  • 1st XV has a home game this Saturday against St Thomas of Canterbury College.  Kick off is at 2.45pm.
  • The 15A team are holding a sausage sizzle to raise money for their Under 15 tournament in Wellington this year so come along and support both teams.


Rowing

  • The St Bede's College Rowing Club are advertising for a Head Rowing Coach – see the add on Seek to obtain a Job Description.   Please direct all enquires to the Director of Sport, Clare Kissick.
  • The St Bede's College Rowing Club are holding their Annual General Meeting on Monday the 12 June at 7.00pm in the College Staffroom.
  • Winter training is underway for all students interested in Rowing this year.


Team of the week

Team of the week went to the 14A team who had a great game against Christchurch Boy’s High School coming away with a win.

We are proud to have Pita Pit on board again this year supplying certificates and vouchers for team of the week.
