The Senior A Tennis Team travelled this past weekend to Timaru for the South Island Secondary Schools Tennis Championship. The team consisted of Harrison Earl, Caleb Middlemiss, Josh Karathra, and Mitchel Penn. The team beat Otago Boys 6-0 in the first round and Ashburton College 4-2 in the second. At the end of the first day’s play, the team was top of the ladder and were in the Semi-Finals to be played Sunday morning. Unfortunately due to rain, the second day of the competition was cancelled and the team ended the tournament with an undefeated 2-0 record.
