From the Rector

Mr Justin Boyle —

Greetings from St Bede’s

We have had a productive ten days since the boys have returned. Our policy of assessing where the boys are at, rather than beginning assessment tasks, has allowed those boys who weren't engaged during the lockdown period, (some for very good reasons), to re-establish their learning routine.

Smart, pragmatic decisions to adjust the programmes are being made for individual students and classes, so that boys are not disadvantaged.

If however you are concerned that your son is not coping, or is under pressure, please contact the College quickly, so we can work through any issues prior to the holiday period.

We continue not to have mass gatherings like benediction and assemblies. Some sport is being played.

Congratulations to the Junior Football team which won the final against Shirley Boys' High School with the score of 5-0. The 1st XI Football team play a semi-final later today against Cashmere High School.
