Junior Prizegiving

Our Junior Prizegiving last Thursday was a time to acknowledge students who have achieved success in a variety of areas during the year. We warmly congratulate all prize-winners.  Those students who received Special Awards are acknowledged in a separate article.

NCEA examinations and results notification

Students are advised that results should be available 12-16 January on-line. Check the website closer to the time for the release date.

Deputy Rector Role change

The BOT have approved my request to step aside from the Deputy Rector, Curriculum, role for a year and take on a part-time role. I will however, continue to be the person responsible for matters dealing with NZQA as the school’s Principal’s Nominee. For Curriculum matters the Acting Deputy Rector will be Mr Jon McDowall, jmcdowall@stbedes.school.nz

Wednesday 1 Feb           

• 9.00 -11.00am, Course confirmation Year 12 (assemble in PAC at 9am)

• 1.00 - 3.00pm, Course confirmation Year 13 (assemble in PAC at 1.00             

• 9.00 -2.30pm, Years 12/13 Peer Leader training

Thursday 2 Feb            

• 8.15am, Year 13 assemble in PAC

• 8.30am, Year 9 assemble at PAC              

Friday 5 Feb               

• 8.15am, Tutor time & assembly (all students)     

Monday 6 Feb                              

• Waitangi Day observance, School closed
