COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) Update

St Bede's College —

Further to the information provided last week, there has been no change to our current situation, with no increase in risk to our community.

We continue to keep in regular contact with the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health and follow all recommendations. We have clear plans in place for all scenarios that may present in the case of any exposure to the COVID-19 virus.

We ask for your assistance to prevent the spread of COVID-19 to our school community with the following actions.

  • Hygiene measures: washing hands regularly and thoroughly. Students have been addressed at assembly on this matter and posters have been placed around school.
  • Self-isolation if symptoms occur.
  • Notify the College of any overseas travel of students or their family members prior to return to College grounds. Decisions may be required regarding self-isolation in some cases.
