An update on the PAC and Chapel.
PAC
- The final concrete pour to the new foundations has been completed. There is only one more internal sub floor pour to undertake
- Reinstatement work continues with the Drama / Music / Classroom subfloor and flooring has been relaid in Rm115 and will commence in Rm114 next week
- The main switchboard has been reinstated to the building and the power feed is now live. The electrician is doing further work this weekend to complete the switch-over
- Replacement of the existing main roof has been delayed slightly but is due to commence within the next fortnight
PAC Exterior
- Exterior cladding is now underway on the south and east elevations – you can see the terracotta coloured cladding from outside Brodie
- Aluminium windows and doors are well advanced and glazing is being installed progressively
Chapel
- Sacristy/Office wall and roof framing and ply cladding is complete. Services installation has commenced
- The initial grinding of the Chapel floor was completed today. A hardener will now be applied and then a protective covering of plywood. In the final stages of the build the floor will be polished and finished off
- The cappings on the exterior walls are now all installed
- The ply to the roof is progressing well. The finished roof panels are expected on site by the end of the week
