CRICKET

Cricket Club

The AGM will be held on Monday 9 March at 7.00pm in the staffroom, if your son plays cricket we encourage you to attend. 

Please note change of day and date.

TOUCH

Congratulations to Isaac Hutchinson who has made the New Zealand Under 16 Touch Team that will go to Australia in September to play.

Congratulations also to Jackson Wright who has been selected to play for the Canterbury Men’s team at the National Champs this weekend. He will be the “baby” of the side and the least experienced at that level. It’s a huge step up. We wish him the very best of luck.

HOCKEY

Hockey registration will be held this Sunday in the main school office – if you want to play please turn up between 11.00am and 1.00pm

Have a Go Day – for Hockey will be held next Monday after school at the hockey turf.

Trials dates – are the Monday 6 and Wednesday 8 April

FOOTBALL

Trials are underway for all teams. There are a few more places left in the Under 14 and 15 teams. If your son is interested in playing please contact the school office or email me at sport@stbede.school.nz

1st XI Football

1st XI Coach announcement:

St Bede's College Football Club is pleased to announce and welcome the appointment of the 1st XI Coaches.

We welcome back Ollie Hawkins who will co-coach with Adam Keizer this season.

Both are the Senior Men’s Coaches at Waimak United so will bring great energy and share their success with our lads this season.

Trials for the 1st XI Football Team will be on Friday 13 March and Monday 16 March at SBC Fields - 3.30pm

POLO

Congratulations to Harry Marshall-Lee who was part of the Christchurch Combined Schools Polo Team that won the B grade SUPA Polo tournament last Sunday.
