First of several sessions for our halfbacks

Fourteen junior halfbacks received instruction today from former halfbacks Wiremu Gray and Mark Ealey on a broad range of aspects of halfback play. The session covered the importance of a "growth mindset", looked at various scenarios, discussed the types of passes that must used and introduced the first skill-drill for the boys to work on over the holidays. Three senior school half-backs (Ben O'Donovan, Jack Goodin and Ollie Robb) kindly came to demonstrate and assist with feedback in the practical part of the session.

The next session will be held in the morning before our Rugby Awards on 18 October.
