Upcoming event: Registrations open now

At St Bede’s College, we understand that raising teenagers in today’s complex world is no easy task. The challenges our teens face seem to evolve at an alarming rate, making it increasingly vital as parents to stay informed and equipped. One of the most pressing issues during adolescence is the pervasive presence of alcohol, vaping and other drugs. To address this issue head-on and provide parents with valuable insights, the Centre of Wellbeing is excited to announce an upcoming talk designed for St Bede’s parents.

Event Details:

Date: Thursday, 15 June 2023

Time: 6:00pm-7:30pm

Location: St Bede’s PAC Auditorium

Adolescence is a period of significant growth, exploration, and curiosity. While it is natural for teenagers to seek independence and experiment with boundaries, it is our role as parents to ensure they do so in a safe and responsible manner. Facilitated by our College Psychologists Jade McDowall and Ella Grigg, this talk is an opportunity for parents to gain expert knowledge, practical strategies, and evidence-based insights into the complex landscape of teenage alcohol, vaping, and drug use.

We kindly ask that you RSVP to cow@stbedes.school.nz by Monday, 12 June 2023.
