 “My name is Kenichiro Kuwae. I went to Koza High School, RyuKei University and now play for the Kubota Spears. I took part in the IRP when I was in my final year of high school. It first I was very nervous about how I’d go, but the class and skill-session content was really well put together so I learned all sorts of new techniques and skills everyday, including lots of things that could never be learned in Japan. I was lucky enough to play the College’s 1st XV, where I had a marvellous experience. Among my team-mates was Solomon Alaimalo, who is now playing for the Chiefs and I played against All Black mindfielder Anton Lienert-Brown. All of the experiences that cannot be had in Japan lead to growth in confidence. There is so much to be gained from the IRP. Good luck to those who take up the challenge!”

「コザ高校、流通経済大、クボタスピアーズの桑江です。自分はラグビープログラムに高校3年生の時に経験させて頂きました。当初は怖いと思う気持ちしかなくてそわそわする毎日ではあったのですが、ラグビープログラムでは勉強も充実していましたし、毎日の色んな練習ができることがとても刺激になりました。日本では教わることのできないテクニックが沢山あります。私自身は1st XVでとても貴重な経験をさせていただきました。チームメイトには現、チーフスで活躍しているソロモンアライマロ、対戦相手にはオールブラックスで活躍しているアントンリエナートブラウンなども居ました。日本ではできない経験が自信になります。沢山のことが得られます。頑張ってください！」
