“St Bede’s newest facility, a bouldering wall. If you are wondering “What is a bouldering wall”, it is very similar to rock climbing but as you do not go higher than 1.5m off the ground you do not need to be attached to a rope.

There are currently 14 different climbs set up ranging in difficulties to suit all classes. Currently no student has completed every climb, but a couple are getting close. We also have the ability to remove and add new climbs as we see fit.

With this new facility comes some great opportunities for our Outdoor Pursuit’s programs in the junior and senior school along with the potentially to start a St Bede’s Rock-Climbing club. So, keep your eyes on the school notices if this interests you”.
