Social Science Faculty

The Social Science Faculty has website displaying information on the subjects that students can study at St. Bede’s. The website provides students and parents with student interviews describing what they enjoy about their subjects and how it has helped them in their studies, photos and videos from educational field trips, course information, as well as interviews and profiles of St Bede’s Old Boys who took Social Science subjects at school and where they are now.

The Faculty also runs a weekly blog to showcase student work and share interesting information from the fascinating world of Social Sciences. This weeks blog showcases student work from Year 13 Geography, Year 13 History and Year 10 Social Studies.

Last week’s blog is a thought-provoking TED Talk video on why the booming tech industry is crying out for critical thinking graduates who have a background in humanities.
