Congratulation to the Junior A Water Polo team who played Christchurch Boys’ High School this week and came away with a 12 to 7 win which was one of the closest games they have had this term.

We wish them all the very best for the South Island Junior Tournament that starts next week.

Thank you also must go to our parents who support their shop, as every time you buy a pair of shoes The Athlete's Foot kindly donate $15.00 from each pair to the College. This is a partnership that has been going on for over five years and we really do appreciate the support that Simon and The Athlete's Foot give to St Bede’s College and look forward to our parents continuing to support this generous offer. A huge thank you to everyone for making this happen.

Congratulations to Byron Antal (fights for the Woolston Club), who competed and won on Saturday at the Canterbury Champs in the 92+kg Youth Male Title 2020.

Byron was also named in the 2021 Canterbury Boxing Team to go to the nationals in January which has always been the goal to go one better than his silver from last year’s nationals.

We wish Byron all the very best for the national championships next year. Well done Bryon.

St Bede’s College Rugby Club is holding their annual general meeting on Monday 23 November in the College Staffroom at 6.00pm. If your son plays rugby then you are encouraged to attend. All welcome.
