Summer Tournament Week
Congratulation to the 49 Athletes who have made finals day this Saturday at Rawhiti Domain
Our three Para boys all gained placings in their finals on Wednesday.

Congratulations to the Senior A Water Polo team who won the Canterbury Secondary School Competition on Tuesday night by beating Christ College 11 goals to 8, and the week before they beat Christchurch Boys High School 18 goals to 2.
This weekend the team travels to Dunedin to compete at the SISS Champs and we wish them all the very best for this tournament.
Good luck to the 26 rowers selected to attend Maadi Cup next week and we wish them all the very best for the week where the competition will be very tough.
Our Senior team are competing in the SISS tournament next Thursday at Burnside Park, we wish them well.
Our Senior team travels to Wellington next week to take part in the Nationals and we wish them all the very best for this.
Zachery Taylor and Hamish Patrick won the Canterbury Secondary School Bowls pairs competition on Wednesday.
Now they travel to Timaru on Tuesday to take part in the SISS Bowls tournament and we wish them all the very best of luck.
Hayden Smith is off to Cambridge to take part in the National Cycling track competition and we wish him all the very best as it has been a few years since St Bede's College has been represented at the Nationals.
Registration Day for ALL Hockey players will be held on Sunday, 8 April from 11.00am to 12.00pm, you are encouraged to pay fees on the day or a deposit is required before you trial. An information sheet, outlining dates for trial, tournament dates and exchanges, will be available on the day.
“Have a GO Hockey Day” - Open day is being held on Thursday, 5 April and all players who intend to play hockey must attend.

Year 9 Touch
Congratulations to our Year 9 Red touch team. They won the Year competition this week.

A big thank you to all the parents who helped with coaching, managing and transporting your sons to various games and venues over Christchurch for the last 5 weeks. It was great to see so many parents involved and I thank you very much for your help and support, without this help the boys would not be able to play on a Wednesday.
Winter sport starts on May 16 in term 2 and I hope to get registration forms out before the end of term.
