John Parsons – Seminar on cyber -safety

The school has engaged the services of John Parsons to deliver seminars to all our students , staff and parents about the issues around cyber – safety and the threats posed to our students within social media.

In order to fit in the hour–long sessions we will change the timetable for Monday, 25 June. However, there will be no change to the start or end of the day. The staff will also receive a presentation after school on Monday and parents and whanau will be given an opportunity to hear him speak on Monday evening. Full details will be available in subsequent newsletters and will advertised to the parent community.

The time table will be

8.15 – 8.30                    Tutor Time (extended)

8.35 – 9.25                    Period One

9.30 – 10.30                 Period Two

10.30 – 10.55              Morning Break

11.00 – 12.00              Period Three ( Year 9 session)

12.05 – 1.05                 Period Four ( Year 10 and 11 session)

1.05 – 1.35                    Lunch time

1.40 – 2.40                    Period 5 (Year 12 and 13)

(Period 6 drops)

Staff                                   3.00 – 4.30pm

Parents & Whanau    7.00 – 8.30 in the Gym. Tea and coffee provided.
