WATER POLO
Congratulations to the Senior A Water Polo team who won the South Island Secondary Schools Championships last weekend. This is the second year they have done this! 

They have now qualified for the Nationals which will be held in Auckland at the start of the April School Holidays.

ATHLETICS
Well done to the 23 students who represented Canterbury in the South Island Athletic Championships in Nelson last weekend. Please see the article in the newsletter that has all the results from the event.

ROWING
Our rowers competed well at the Maadi Cup regatta last week with the following results:

Under 15 Coxed Four 

Under 17 Coxed Eight

Under 18 Coxed Eight

Well done to all the crews.

A big thank you to all the parents that looked after the boys on the Marae for the ten days during Maadi.

Congratulations to Ben Visser, Ben MacGregor and Matty Barr who have been selected for a South Island trail. We wish them all the best for this.

AFL
Apologies go to Noah Newsome for not including him on the congratulations list in last week’s newsletter. 

We would like to congratulate Noah for making the New Zealand AFL Academy Level 1 team to play Australia later in the term. Sorry Noah and we wish you all the very best for the tournament.

SURF LIFESAVING
Canterbury Surf Lifesaving Championships
Another apology goes to Lee Collins and Jem Lilburne who also competed at the National Surf Life Saving Champs. They were in the Surf Canoe crew where they finished 2nd in the Under 19 Short and Long Course Canoe event. Well done boys this is a great achievement.
