We encourage all students and whanau to come along and meet Faculty leaders, subject teachers and tertiary and industry providers to discuss learning pathways within the College and beyond.

The following organisations have indicated that they will be in attendance 

· Air New Zealand Engineering and Maintenance Division relating to the engineering trades

· PIHMS (Pacific International Hotel Management School) which specialises in hospitality, tourism and hotel management

· New Zealand Institute of Sport which provides tertiary level education and opportunities for people passionate about a career in sport, fitness and the recreation industries

· Truck Repairs promoting automotive trades in the trucking industry

· Masterlink representative Geoff Hooker is available to promote the plumbing industry

· New Zealand Design and Art College working with the creative industries offering tertiary qualifications in Fashion, Makeup and Graphic Design

· ARA Institute of Technology offers flexible study options to gain qualifications and advance student training from certificate level through to a bachelor’s degree. It also works closely with schools through dual enrolment programmes

· Zest is a career management company that specialises in career guidance, advice and counselling for all age groups

· UC is the largest university in the Canterbury Region delivering an extensive range of tertiary qualifications from engineering to sports coaching

· Southern Institute of Technology is the champion of the zero fees scheme through certificate to master’s degree programmes

· Avon City Ford is a dual pathways provider and offers industry- based learning to secondary school students

· GCH Aviation (Garden City Helicopters) specialise in flight training

· Tai Poutini Polytechnic on the West Coast has a wide range of practical programmes, with a focus on vocational education and applied skills like the New Zealand Certificate in Drilling Non-Hydrocarbon

· MAINZ (Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand) has a fine reputation in the delivery of high quality programmes covering all aspects of the music industry from auto engineering through to live sound

· New Zealand Defence Forces provide an extensive range of career opportunities through defence from trade training through to university study

· BCITO is the industry training organisation for building and construction in New Zealand responsible for overseeing all apprenticeships in this sector

· Lincoln University is a land-based institution with unique and specialized qualifications around food supply and production as well as environmental sustainability

· ETCO (Electrical Training Company) is a private provider that supports the electrical trades through assisting and mentoring apprenticeships

· New Zealand Trucking Association providing information about the transport industry with a career focus

· ITC (International Travel College of New Zealand) is a supplier of training courses on airline, airport, travel and tourism industries

· NTA (National Trade Academy) offers primary industry training and Trades Academy Programmes with dual pathways for secondary school students in agriculture, animal care, horticulture and equine
