Information on the Rebuild - PAC and Chapel

PAC Extension

• In the PAC Extension, the drainage at the east elevation is being completed and siteworks in that area will follow. The flashings and painting of the Titan Board on the west is complete. Scaffold to be removed. Outdure decking has commenced.

• In the Foyer the Quietline ceiling is ongoing. High level window actuators have been installed and Decortech panels have commenced.
• The east toilets are being painted and the toilet partitions have been site measured.
• Kitchen joinery is being installed. Vinyl flooring to follow. Storerooms are being stopped and sanded for painting. In the Stage Store the replacement acoustic door has been installed.
• Services reinstatement is ongoing. The existing main switchboard requires some modifications which are ongoing.
• The installation of the ceilings in the classroom and drama/dance room have commenced. The lining and stopping to the practice rooms is on-going. Painting to pre-cast walls has commenced.
• In the Auditorium the ceiling is ready for painting and the stage ceiling will be ready by 1 July. A heater is being used to reduce drying times.
• In the PAC, replacement of parapet capping is continuing. The 4no cracked roof light glazing units have not yet been replaced. This is expected by 28 June

Chapel

• In the Chapel, the high-level ceiling has been painted and is ready for 2nd fix services. Stopping to the other ceilings is in hand. Heaters are being used to reduce drying times.
• Fibrous plaster linings and window reveals to the north, south and west walls are well advanced. Curved window head reveals are in production. The Gallery glass balustrade has been site measured.
• Fireline Gib to the underside of the Gallery is fixed. Gib to Sacristy is on-going. Glazing is ongoing – 10 of 12 curved windows have been glazed.
• Six restored old stained glass window frames will be ready for stained glass install by 28 June. The remaining six will be ready one week later.
• The Services Cupboard will be ready for the comms cabinet and main switchboard by 28 June.
• Externally the verandah arches and joists are fixed. Shadowclad soffit lining has commenced. Brick slips and plaster is ongoing. The balance of the under floor heating pipework will be extended to the heat pump location by 28 June.
• The siteworks foundations at the NE corner of the Chapel is on-going. The prep for the terrace between the PAC and Chapel is in hand. In-ground power cabling for external lights has been laid. We plan to pour this terrace with the steps heading towards Brodie building late w/c 1 July.
