This week's update includes news and information about Motor Cross, upcoming cricket fundraiser, the Rugby Club AGM, and rugby league.

Motor Cross

The St Bede's College team of Thomas Ludemann, Daniel Mulholland, Conrad Smith and Dallas Cleall, competed in the  South Island Secondary School Champs last weekend and finished in the top 8 which was a great effort.


Cricket Fundraiser

The St Bede's College Cricket Club are selling Savouries as their Annual Fundraiser and if you would like to order some please either email me or send you son in with the money.

Collection Dates:  Tuesday, 29 November 5-6 pm & Thursday 1 December 5-6pm. Meet outside Marist House at St Bede’s College. PLEASE NOTE: Product is frozen therefore will need to be picked up on these dates.

Rugby

St Bede's College Rugby Club is holding their Annual General Meeting on Monday, 31 October at 6.00pm in the College staffroom, all parents are encouraged to attend.

 

Rugby League

Congregations to Oli Watts who was selected for the Under 19 Canterbury Representative Rugby League team – there are only two 17 year olds selected in the team.  

The team won the South Island tournament where Oli was named in the Tournament team.  Oli has now been offered a trial for the NYC Junior Warriors and we wish him all the very best for this.

 

Riccarton Cricket Club – are looking for a scorer and statistician who would become an integral part of their Premier Team. The club is adopting the CricHQ scoring and statistical system (www.CricHQ.com) No experience is necessary, training in all aspects of the role will be provided to the successful applicant. Competitive remuneration will be negotiated.
