Aoraki - Mt Cook / Peel Forest & Hanmer Springs

Attached are some pictures from the Aoraki Mt Cook, Peel Forest and Hanmer Springs Year 10 Camps.

Down at Aoraki Mt Cook, the boys walked the Hooker Glacier and trekked up to the Sealy Tarns - 2200 steps straight up! 

The below photos show the Peel Forest Camp setting off on their rafting expedition at the gorge of the Rangitata River. The trip took 2.5 hours through rapids and eddies and spectacular NZ scenery.

The boys on this camp have been amazing, working well together on a 3.5 hour tramp on the first day, orienteering and high ropes on the second day and concluding with rafting the Rangitata on Friday. The weather has been kind to us and there has been no shortage of food and entertainment. 

The Hanmer Springs Year 10 Camp also enjoyed some time on the water at a slightly faster pace!
