The Centre of Enhancement (CoE) is hoping to send out information on a weekly basis about the opportunities available for the students at St Bede’s College.

There are a number of interesting taster courses available for boys to learn about what different careers entail.

Below is a sample of courses that students may find interesting.

• Engineer for a day.

Wednesday 25 March 

• Applied science information session.
• Osteopathy information session.

Friday 3 April 

• Builder for a day.

Wednesday 15 – Friday 17 April 

• Defence careers experience
  (applications close 16 March)

Tuesday 21 April

• Flight engineer.

Wednesday 29 April

• Experience ARA.

Thursday 30 April

• Music Arts for a day

There are a large number of Year 13 scholarships available for students interested in tertiary study. These range from scholarships at domestic universities to overseas universities. More information can be found by accessing the link below:

There is weekly teacher aide support available for students who would like any help with any work they are completing. Teacher aides are available to help on Monday afternoons between 2.45pm – 3.30pm and on Wednesday and Tuesday mornings between 8.00am – 9.00am.

The Centre of Enhancement also offers the opportunity for students to complete a touch-typing course on Monday afternoons.
