“My name is Hirotomo Ono. I currently play in Japan for NTT Communications-Shining Arcs. I took part in the IRP two years in a row, in 2007 and 2008. I was really impressed with how players in New Zealand are able think for themselves and how they apply themselves to the task at hand single-mindedly but with the clear intention of enjoying it. I also think that the kindness and unique character of the people in New Zealand, plus the beauty of its natural environment, is unmatched anywhere else in the world.
