The school wishes to congratulate Fr Paul Martin SM – the new Bishop-elect of the Diocese of Christchurch. He will be very much in our thoughts and prayers as he begins his journey into the role of our Bishop. Fr Paul was Deputy Rector -Pastoral here at St Bede's from 2006-2007 and we are excited to be working with him again.

At this time of the year as we get ready to celebrate the festive season, please take a moment to remember those people in our school community who are suffering. We especially remember those who have suffered the loss of a loved one. We also continue to pray for people who are unwell, keeping Harrison Wilson very much in our prayers.
