The University of Otago – For School Students

Over the next few weeks and months you will have a number of private organisations contacting you or your school advertising UCAT preparation packages.

The University of Otago and the Health Sciences at Otago DO NOT endorse any of these courses. We DO NOT have any clear evidence that these courses help or hinder student.

Please also keep in mind the UCAT exam was only started last year, therefore there can be no real experts in this material. Each university uses UCAT in a different method.

Our advice for UCAT preparation is to go to the official UCAT website which has a number of free tests you can try.

The website is: https://www.ucat.edu.au/ucat-anz/

If you are unsure please do not hesitate to ask your Schools’ Liaision Office – prajesh.chhanabhai@otago.ac.nz
