We have come to the end of the term where sickness on the staff and students decreased rapidly and academic and co-curricular programmes could proceed almost normally.

Seniors have three short weeks more in class before they have exams, and the Year 13s will have the opportunity to enjoy the end of year events, the Ball, the Leavers’ Breakfast, the Prize Giving and the Final Mass. All events which could not happen last year.

I am happy to announce the new Director of Sport is Reuben Spicer, who has been a PE teacher on the staff.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind wishes in view of my resignation. As I said in my resignation letter, it has been a privilege to have been among such a warm and welcoming community over the past 21 years and to have worked alongside so many wonderful people.

As we go into the holidays, I know the Seniors will be putting in some study, but I hope that all the boys manage to have a good break, before our final term for 2022.
