Waimakariri Bridge
All going well we will be lifting the first of the new Waimakariri Bridge beams into place on Friday night. To do this we need to use the 'contraflow' traffic set-up on the bridge again. Below are links to a video that shows how this works and a newsletter. If you are driving on the bridge during the beam lifts please stick to the posted speed signs and keep your eyes on the road (not on the big yellow crane).

Grimseys/QEII Intersection
This intersection is closed until Sunday 10 March to allow the final work on this intersection to be done. On 10 March, weather permitting, we will also be swapping traffic over to the new QEII Drive lanes from Grimseys Road to Main North Road.
