Our musicians continued their tradition of providing excellent instrumentation for hymns at last Friday's Opening Mass Service.

The Mass Musicians perform at all five full-school masses throughout the year, and we have a large team playing a diverse spread of instruments including trumpet, tenor and alto Saxophones, clarinet, violins, and also guitars, bass guitar, drums, keyboard and lead singers. 

We play both traditional and contemporary hymns and these are usually chosen by our Year 13 Leaders for each mass. 

Staff and students play together. The communion items for this mass were Leon Bridge's "River" by Seamus Lohrey (vocals) and Oliver Flanagan (vocals and guitar), and "Here I am Lord" by Flynn Bunter (violin), accompanied by Mrs Abi King (keyboard) and Mr Liam Foley (guitar).
